Hi Susan,

Unfortunately, I am unable to comprehend the exact issue you are facing. If following information does not answer your query then please reply back with more details and exact requirements.

You can configure OnlineFamily.Norton ( and Norton Safety Minder) to block child from sending his/her personal information like "email address", "phone number", "social security number" , and any other specified information if:

1. Child tries to send the personal information through web mails (like yahoo mail or hotmail) etc.

2. Child tries to send the personal information on social networking Web sites (like facebook.com) etc.

3. Child tries to send the personal information through Instant Messengers (like Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger) etc.

If child tries to use any of the above mentioned methods of communication to send personal information, his message (mail or text message) can be blocked (if configured so).

Note: This does not apply to regular mail services like Outlook mails or attachment files.

For more details on how to manage protection of personal information for the child, please see the following link:

Susan, I believe you can block email addresses to your email account.  But, it you are trying to block email and/or phone number on your cell phone, Ii don't think this isn't possible--you can only block from a landline.
