c:\windows\system32\services.exe.

hi, c:\windows\system32\services.exe ,according to norton security unauthorized access logged.action,(access thread data) target,norton internet security.norton says its a medium risk alert.if so,why has norton allowed it to gain access?status says logged,no action required.should i be worried about this?any help would be appriecated.

Hi sylar:

That has to do with Norton Tamper Protection.  It means that system services are accessing Norton files for some reason.  Norton is allowing it but logs the information.  Not a worry.

thanks for replying.so its safe to say its not a trojan or virus?and is it normal for system services to access norton files?
