Norton Removal Tool is coming back expired

When I try to run the Norton removal tool it comes back saying that it is expired.  System date/time is correct and it points to url http://www.symantec.com/nrexpired which just leads to a page not found message.  Can you please advise or update the tool?  This occurs regardless of the OS or product installed (or previously installed).

EDIT:  Now the tool shows http://www.symantec.com/nrtexpired which is a valid url but  it still comes up expired on even that version.

I am having the same problem even after deleting the key from the registry. What is up with that?

Yep, happening to me too..

Guess I'll have to stop using Norton if I can't re-install their programs.

Re: Norton Removal Tool is coming back expired

Sorry - Still does not work - Current download as of this morninging 2009.09.01 is version 2009.0.5.40 which still says expired.

What "version" should we be getting and where to we get it?

Thank you for your help!
