Sonar activity help required.

I've been using Norton NIS 2010 for a couple of months now, and Sonar Activity in Security History still says there are no items to view for this catergory. As I am not 100% sure how Sonar works, my question is to those in the know, is this normal. Does Sonar Activity only show up in History logs when a problem has been encountered.

Hi reactivate

You are right in your assumption. You would only see an entry here if SONAR had actually identified a threat.

Here is the Wikipedia explanation of SONAR

Here is Symantec's explanation of SONAR2

SONAR 2
This year we created SONAR 2 (Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response), a new heuristics system that leverages our online intelligence network with proactive local monitoring of your PC to detect emerging threats. This system can stop today’s rapid-fire attacks even before traditional signature-based definitions are available because it watches out for typical behaviors performed by malware.
