Is Standby/Sleep mode working for anyone after upgrading to NIS 2010?

I have my laptop (XP SP3) set to go into Standby after 25 minutes of inactivity.  With NIS 2009 installed, sometimes this wouldn't work, but it normally did.  Since installing NIS 2010, I've left my machine running for hours and it never sleeps.

I've only seen it sleep twice: once when I changed the Standby setting to 1 minute (as a test) and the other time when I turned on Silent Mode.

I use a wireless network and my ethernet port is disabled so network activity shouldn't prevent the laptop from entering Standby.

Anyone else having issues with their PC not going into Standby with NIS 2010.

Well I can manually sleep, it's just automatic sleep that doesn't appear to be working.  So it sounds like you had a different issue.

I had a wireless/sleep mode issue that caused me to roll back to NIS09.  I lost my connection to the router several times and the only way to fix it was to reboot.  I tried to put the laptop into sleep mode manually to see if would connect when I woke it.  Guess what?  The laptop froze as soon as I hit the sleep button and I had to hold down the power button for a hard reset. This never happened before I installed NIS 2010 and was the deciding factor in rolling back to NIS09. I have Vista SP2 64 bit.
