Is conduit.exe part of Norton Internet Security?
Yes, Conduit.exe is a part of NIS. It is used in the antispam part of the program.
conduit.exe is a conduit_client belonging to Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam[tm] from Symantec Corporation
The information was taken from http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/conduit/
Hope this helps.
The reason I asked was I accidently deleted it from Program and Features in my windows 7. I uninstalled NIS and reinstalled it but it didn't show up in Programs and Features so I don't know if it's in there or not. It was listed in the Program and Features as conduit.exe. How can you tell if it's installed?
I forgot to meation that I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I noticed the Symantic file that's in the Progrm File is empty.
