Has any infection been detected in full system scans by N360?  Are there any identified infections noted as being blocked in Intrusion prevention in your history?

Welcome

Sounds like it's time for a bigger hammer. I'd suggest that you download the free version of Malwarebytes scanner, install it, run the update and do a full scan then reboot. Be very sure you are getting the FREE version. It is compatible with your Norton product.

If that fails to find the problem it might be time to use the Norton Power Eraser. It is strong and aggressive so be careful. There is also the free version of Superantisypware that can be useful. It too is compatible with your Norton product.

Hope this helps. Be sure to let us know

Download and run Norton Power Eraser tool :

Go for Rootkit Scan and Restart the computer. Check if it detects any threats and if it does, please provide us the filename and other details. Don't fix any files now, you can fix those after getting confirmation in this thread.
