Subscription renewal emails

I previously had Norton Internet Securoty 2011.  I purchased the 2012 version (I found it cheaper than the renewal.)

I continue to get emails informing me that my coverage has expired.  The 2012 version is installed and apears to be operating correctly...

Re: Subscription renewal emails

Hi Dev

You can contact our Support(Chat will be the quickest) and ask them to disable that expired Norton. You'll not receive email anymore. Those email should stop coming in automatically after 28 days of your subscription expiration date, if the product is not disabled.

Re: Subscription renewal emails

Hi Dev

Your other thread is couple of months old and as there is no reply's the thread has been closed for further reply's. I'm providing my suggestion in this thread itself.

In the Norton Internet Security main window you'll have the option History  click on that --> then in the drop down menu at the top you can see an option Performance Alert --> Among the entries find that alert and click on that, you'll get an option More Details at the bottom right corner -->  Click on Don't alert for this file  --> Apply --> Let us know how it goes.

Re: Subscription renewal emails

I don't see a History option in the main NIS window.  At the top are: Settings, Performance, Feedback, Account, and Support.  In the center are: Scan Now, LiveUpdate, Advanced, and Renew.  At the botton are: Details, Cybercrime Index, Activity Map, Manage, Mobile, Onlien Family, Safe Web and Backup.

Attached is a screen capture. (rename .txt to .png.)

I am running NIS v19.6.2.10 on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1.

Re: Subscription renewal emails

Hi Dev

I had replied to your previous post (according to that you're using version 18). In version19, click on Advanced you'll get option History.

Re: Subscription renewal emails

I used chat, supposedly they cancelled the old one.  That was a few days ago.  Today I received yet another renewal reminder, this one seemed to be worded in a rather angry way.  Any other ideas?
