Norton's coIEPlg.dll Causing Problems in IE
I am using NIS 2012 and ever since they did updated NIS2012 to version 220.127.116.11. internet explorer 8 will give me a crash notice immediately after I have closed the browser.
I don't know if this is because I have closed the browser window before a web page has been fully loaded or what but according to event viewer, the crash is caused by coIEPlg.dll which is a file that belongs to Norton.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way to unload/reload the Norton toolbar? Also how does one check to see what version of ID safe and Norton toolbar that they have?
Any help any of you can provide would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
P.S. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 1. Here is the crash report in Event viewer:
