Not what you are looking for? Ask the experts!

Good Evening,

I have recently saw a Norton pop up that said something along the lines of "libGLESv2.dll is safe" and I was confused because I did not download any file with that name.  Shortly after my computer crashed.  I am currently conducting a virus scan and I was wondering if the crash and this libGLESv2.dll were connected.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: libGLESv2.dll

While waiting for someone who knows about malware I wonder if this helps explain what it might be

It's a runtime library for an embedded version of OpenGL. OpenGL is used for PC
graphics, but OpenGL ES is usually what is used on phone and tablet games and
for browsers using WebGL

I'm not saying that what you have is safe but that might explain why you have it!
