Can't download. Using IE10. deleted cookies and history.

no matter what i try to download: xxx was unable to be downloaded. Ex: latest java ftp client.

Using N360: disabled download intelligence.

can't download with mozilla/firefox either

The difficulty appears to be with Security Scan. I get the msg: JavaSetup7u45.exe couldn't be downloaded.

Try restarting the computer.

Are you getting a Norton message? If so can you provide and image of the message after clicking on details on the left hand pane.

If the file has recently been updated it will have a low reputation with Norton and because of this Norton will block it.  So in time the users will increase and Norton will allow it or it can be assessed as a false positive by Norton and Norton can then release an update to allow the file.

Can you post an image using screen capture and the paint programme or use the snipping tool (see help and support from the start menu).

How to post an image in the Norton forum, link below.  Please check that personal information is edited out this can be done using the paint programme see help and support from the start menu.  Your image may take some time for a moderator to validate it, until then you will see a box with a triangle in it.

Norton evaluates false positives so if you think your getting a false positive please click on the link below to submit it with the relevant details to access the file.  Norton can assess it for being a false positive if it is a false positive Norton should release an update shortly for the file(s) concerned.
