Maybe they're again reconsidering the patch version release. I still have not gotten it via LiveUpdate...have been trying for most of the day. Anyway, I'll try again later.....Keep my finger cross.

An extract from Tim's post 2. When will I receive the patch? As a standard practice, we will be deploying the patch in a phased manner. On Monday, 9th of November, we will be releasing the patch to some randomly selected customers. We will then monitor our telemetry, as well as this forum, for any problem reports or issues. Hope this explains why you have not, as yet, received the patch. Message Edited by mdturner on 10-11-2009 09:39 AM

mdturner Yes indeed that is entirely correct but the reason I struggle to understand this is as follows. At the 2nd site I have one PC which got upgraded to 17.1.0.19 without the user have to run liveupdate they simply received the msg about rebooting and on reboot NIS had been updated. That leaves two other PC's on the same WAN ip address which despite constant manual liveupdate do not get updated. How is it possible that on a single network of 3 PC's, one can get updated automatically and the other 2 cannot whether manually or automatically?

cgoldman - Testing? They are seeing if one system behaves any differently than the other two (acting as base control cases). Just a thought.

Hi I'm sure your Windows Updates don't all get applied at exactly the same time either?
