Is Internet Security For Mac fully compatable with OS 10.4.11?

Is Internet Security For Mac fully compatable with both Safari and FireFox?

The application has a component similar to Norton Confidential ... which I had to remove because of incompatability with FireFox.

Thanks.

Yes, Norton Internet Security version 4 works with Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6. It works with Firefox 2, Firefox 3 and Firefox 3.5, Firefox 3.6 Beta as well as Safari 3 and Safari 4 (this is what makes our test matrix such a huge mess!)

Norton Internet Security contains Norton Confidential. What part of Norton Confidential was incompatible with Firefox? For a while Norton Confidential did not show its toolbar inside of Firefox, but we fixed that for Norton Internet Security.

Thanks Ryan ... your info has been very helpful.

Now I can go ahead and replace my Norton Antivirus 11 with Norton Internet Security for Mac.

I'd loaded Norton Confidential (along with Antivirus 11) almost a year ago.  My memory is not the greatest ... but I think that it had to do with giving me a hard time anytime I tried to use a "protected data".  I removed it almost 10 months ago after talking to tech support (or customer service)  after the first month and was advised that indeed, Confidential was not compatible with Firefox (it was with Safari).

Before removing it I would check for fixes ... but none ever became available.

Kudos!
