Hi ShinOrochiX Just to follow up...I ran online Symantec Security Scan (not PC Checkup) from IE and FF ...3 times and each run I get IPS popups...So, I'll post to NIS Forum and ask. I also ran ShieldsUp from grc.com from IE and FF with NO IPS popups. All tests 100% Stealth. So, NIS09 likes grc and unknown why IPS reacts to Symantec scan. Thanks for info re IPS from legit sites. I just assumed a port scan is considered malicious. I'll post to NIS Forum. bjm_ edit: just read your last post ~ so, you think I got IPS because I have NIS09?
