Sneak Peek Feature Not Working..

I recently purchased Anti-theft at the beginning of this semester. Today I was playing with the Anti-Theft and used the Sneak Peek. When I use it all I get back is an image of the YouCam3 logo. what can be done to fix this?

Also, if not a Smartphone, what is the camera being used on the computer? Version of Windows? Etc.

Windows 7. HP Laptop. webcam is on the laptop. I have YouCam3 software, but i dont know how that is blocking the webcam from working with Norton. Youcam was installed upon purchase. came with the laptop.

Do you know if you have to launch the YouCam3 software in order to use the camera? If you use Skype or something similar does the camera automatically load?

Tried using the program YouCam. The program is CyberLink- YouCam3.5 When I ran it, a message popped up saying to plug in a webcam. apprently my webcam doesnt work.

You might check to see if the driver for the cam is working. If the cam won't turn on, then sneak peak will unfortunately not work as well.

It was the driver, HP helped me get it fixed. Now the post before Yes. the Cyberlink: YouCam is blocking the webcam, like it has to run for it to work. But when using skype it doesn't need to use Cyberlink. Anyway I can choose what webcam the Norton uses?

Hi Hooks21h -

Can you restart your computer and, after restarting, then right click on the Norton Anti-Theft icon in the system tray? (see image below with the arrow..as you can see, I'm not an artist :smileysad: )

When you right click on the icon, select "About Norton Anti-Theft." If you have NORTON ANTI-THEFT VERSION: 1.1.0.23 then the problem you are seeing should be fixed.

If you do not have that version, then you might have to wait until tomorrow. We recently sent out a patch that fixes this issue.

Please let me know if this works for you, and if not, we will try to figure out another option.
