[Feature Request] Android Mobile Security privacy

I think if we have bit more privacy it would be great.. i mean anyone can simply open norton and view blocked sms/call details.. so if there is a password protection option where it will ask for a password when we view blocked sms/calls it would be great :)

Just to get some clarification, is the phone shared a lot? Is there an expectation that someone else will be going through your phone? Do you use any screen lock security like a PIN or pattern lock?

Its not shared alot but anyone even friends can go through those records..no i usually dnt use any locks even if i use they can still access norton logs... what i suggest is a simple pin/password protection for that log panel..

Thanks for clarifying Sam. I'll pass this along, but I'm not sure where this will fit on the prioritization. When you add an item that has a password that's usually one more opportunity to forget a password.

ya you got a point where user might forget the password, but thats not gonna be an issue bcz even if you take android, is they forgot the lock screen password there is no way to break it... if u ask me you can have something lik linking it to your norton account, same algorythem used in norton anti-theft plugin..

The reason why i suggest this is, the main use of call/sms block is to prevent those calls/sms so if anyone could view that means well, that privacy is not there, or else we should manually clear the blocked call/sms log every few hrs :)

I'm not sure I follow that. I have a screen lock which is easy to use and means that no one who picks up my phone has access to any of the features other than the ability to make an emergency call. When the screen is locked I cannot access any of the Norton information.

If you are concerned about people looking at your logs you might like to try a screen lock. It is easy to take off it you do not like it. If you find it a nuisance to have to unlock the screen every time the screen goes off, there are apps that will put in a variable (user defined) time delay.

what im trying to tell is, if a friend asks ur phone u cannot go behind him looking at what he is doing after unlocking the screen lock for him.. anyways jus my suggestion.. for norton it would be a great additional feature since i have used many root call blockers and simply norton is the best :)
