We have one CD of Norton 360 version 2.0, and we want to put an installation onto a second computer. Each computer in this household is used by a separate person. Each of them has their own set of accounts, passwords, and email addresses. Will this be a problem in the installation process or the activation process? The product is supposed to be permitted to be installed on 3 computers in the house, but what more do we need to know?

The two particular users are Windows Vista home premium users, in case that is of any concern. Thanks.

There should be no problem since when it activates Norton keeps track of the keys. I find it good to use Norton Account since it keeps track of the key and when used.

So just go ahead and use the same disk and the same key on the three computers and you should be OK -- if not post details here since the Norton staffers (red names) are good at sorting out problems.

Note that when you use a 3 user version the subscription date runs from the first installation so that if you make the second installation 3 months after the first one tha second one will only run for the remaining 9 months and if you do the third after another month it wil only run for 8 months and all three will run out on the same date. See what I mean <s>

Thanks -- I noted a slight modification in your reply on a similar topic where the person is I suppose "deactivating" one computer. To uninstall on that one.
