    <description>&lt;p&gt;I've had. Norton 360 Version 4.0 installed for about three months and everything was working the way it should. Last night, I shut down normally. This morning when I turned it on, the only screen that I could get is &amp;quot;Windows advanced options menu&amp;quot;. No matter what I key on , I can't get windows to open. I coulld only get into this screen by pressing F8. Can anyone help? Thanks.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;To get you the best advice, would you give us some more information about your system:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;What version of Windows are you using including Service Packs and whether 32 bit or 64 bit&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you get any error messages please give the exact wording of them as well as any other background that could be helpful.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;HUGH,THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING. INFO;DELL SYSTEM 8400, MEMORY 1GB, NORTON 360 VERSION 4.0 INSTALLED ABOUT THREE MONTHS AGO. SHUT DOWN SYSTEM NORMALLY. TRIED TO REOPEN NEXT DAY. OPENS WITH DELL BIOS SCREEN AS NORMAL BUT FAILS TO BOOT INTO WINDOWS     I GET AN OPTION; F2-SET UP OR F-12 BOOT UP. IF I GO INTO THE BOOT DEVICE MENU, IT LIST;ONBOARD SATA HARD DRIVE, ONBOARD OR USB CD-ROM DRIVE, SYSTEM SETUP, HARD DRIVE DIAGNOSTICS,BOOT TO UTILITY PARTITION. I'VE TRIED THEM ALL INCLUDING RUNNING FIVE HOURS OF DIAGNOSTICS WHICH SHOWS EVERYTHING PASSING. BASED ON ANOTHER TIP ON THE WEB, I WAS TOLD THAT MY CMOS BATTERY MAY HAVE DIED. I REPLACED IT AND AS A RESULT WAS ABLE TO AT LEAST GET INTO THE F2 OR F12 OPTION BUT CAN'T SEEM TO GO ANY FURTHER. I can only suggest you contact Dell and ask them including why you can't use the System Recovery Disk.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Or find a local trustworthy PC shop -- not one of the main street retail stores but a mom and pop outfit the locals recommend.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is not something anyone here can help you with by remote control.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
