Update want let me log back into program, HELP!!!

I was prompted to click on the "restart" to get the newest updates. I did and now I cannot open one of my programs. I tried to "restore" it back to an earlier time, but it still won't let me use the program. Now I'm afraid to use it on my newest computer, not knowing what's going to happen. Could someone please help. This is time consuming and also very frustrating if I have lost my information on my other program.... Thanks a lot

Hi,

can you please tell us the exact version of your Norton product?
1. Open the main window
2. Click on Help & Support -> About menu
3. On the About window find the version number (it will look like this: 5.1.0.29)

Also the program's name that is not opening.

My version is 5.1.0.29 and the program not responding is "Folio Views 4.2". I have had this program since around 2002. I have the install disk and I suspect I will have to uninstall and reinstall the program, but probably will loose some of the information the information I have on it. In fact that is what I intend on doing today if I don't get an answer. That's not too bad, but I don't know whether to install the updates on my newest computer which if it messes up, WILL be a problem. Thanks for any help you can give me...

Can you please check if the program runs in Safe Mode:

1. Restart your PC
2. Before the Windows logo press F8 until you see a list
3. Select Safe Mode, and hit enter
4. When Windows is loaded, open the program

Let us know the results.
