topic Installing on more than one pc - one years use from initial installation?? in Norton 360

Forgive me if this is a really stupid question...I have Norton 360 for use on 3 computers. My mum used it last year and gave it to me, which I installed about 2 weeks ago. It said I must activate within 14 days or it will stop working, and so i've put the product key in, but still only have 2 days subscription left. Is this because it was first installed a year ago, and so the other two uses of the disc run from the date of first installation, rather than the date they are installed on other pc's?

Thanks in advance!
