Thanks floplot

I have not seen a thread dedicated to 2011 yet to find out peoples opinions? if I may I will post my findings here.

I found this was the easiest upgrade yet...from finding the link at the front of the forum so I did not have to search for the right one.....to downloading and installing. It really has been a piece of cake.and all is working well and as it should.

I find the world map odd and seems to be a waste of space but everyone likes different things so not a big issue. It took awhile to work out the new settings and added extras but I am extremly happy it does what it is meant to do and that is protect me from attacks.

The only small hic-cup and as I find is always the most nerve racking, is when you restart your PC after the download/install and nothing appears to happen.....no small NIS icon in the tray and you think what to do...After some waiting.....I just clicked on the larger desktop icon and it brought up the intializing screen and that was that. How did others find this part of the upgrade?

I over installed and did no removing of the previous NIS2010.

Thanks Symantec...a big improvement.....or I have finally just got used to the system:smileytongue: I think the little folder on the desktop with all the goodies is a nice touch all neatly in the one spot and I assume easy to move to where you want it.
