      <title>Identity Safe Problem</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I have many passwords stored in the Identity Safe but am having a problem with two of them recently. They have been OK in the past.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The name and password fields fill in OK but even though the details have been previously saved, the Identity  Safe offers to save them again. To stop this keep happening, I accept and everything seems OK until the browser is closed and reopened (cookie deleted) and then I try to log in again.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Name and password are filled in by the Identity Safe but as soon as the login button is pressed, the login fails and I'm taken to another login page. Again, the name an password fields are filled in by the Identity Safe but when using the login button on this page, the login still fails. I'm only allowed 5 login attempts before the forum software (vBulletin) locks me out for 15 minutes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I go into the Identity Safe and look at the details of the password (unhidden), it turns out that the proper password has been substituted by the word 'PASSWORD'. I've deleted the two sites this happens with so that I have to re-enter and save the details but this hasn't helped. Happens in IE, Firefox and Chrome&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Hello - Thanks for the replies. The operating system is Windows 7 64-bit, NIS version number is 19.6.1.8. The URL of a site giving this trouble is  &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://windowssecrets.com/forums/"&gt;http://windowssecrets.com/forums/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The symptoms of the first paragraph I wrote in the problem description varies a little. I'm not now getting the offer to re-save the password all the time. The rest of the description stands though. I have since tried the login using LastPass and this has no problem with the site. The LastPass extension is normally disabled in the browsers but kept installed just in case it's needed.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;Thanks for providing the URL, We are able to reproduce this issue. The issue is Password field is getting saved by "Password" instead of original password.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;EDIT:&amp;nbsp; We are tracking this issue with a defect&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The issue is fixed in latest version of NIS 2012 (Product version19.7.0.9). Could you run live update and restart the computer then check the behavior again.&lt;/p&gt;
