Q. How do I download Norton Mobile Security that I purchased through a retail store?
A. You can download Norton Mobile Security here.

Q. How do I install Norton Mobile Security after I download it?
A. After the download finishes, slide down the status bar at the top of the screen to verify that the download is complete. Tap the MobileSecurity-28.apk file to start the installation.

Alternatively, you can go to Settings > Downloads, and tap the Mobile Security-28.apk file to start the installation.

Q. I receive a message "Install blocked: For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not obtained from Android Market" while installing Norton Mobile Security.
A. By default, your device is set to block the applications that are not downloaded from Android Market.
To install Norton Mobile Security, temporarily allow the installation of non-market apps.

Go to Settings > Applications.
If the option "Unknown sources: Allow install of non-market applications" is unchecked, tap it to enable.

Q. How do I activate Norton Mobile Security?
A. To activate the Norton Mobile Security, start the Norton Security app, and then tap Activate Now. Type the activation code that you received through email or from the retail store, and tap Submit.

Q. What is an apk file?
A. An Android application is compiled and packaged into a single file with .apk extension. It includes all of the application's code resources, assets, and manifest file.

Q. What are the differences between Norton Mobile Security Lite and Norton Mobile Security Full version?
A. Norton Mobile Security Lite is a basic version of Norton Mobile Security available for free at Android Market. It comes with some basic security and Anti-Theft features. Following table displays the feature comparison between the Lite and Full versions:
