It's a big WWW, but going to "invisiblethings.org" brings up the "Malicious blocked site" message. This is Joanna Rutkowska's old site: http://www.google.com.au/search?q=rutkowska&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joanna_Rutkowska !! Ya, a noted malware pusher... ?? Clicking on the "Visit anyway" link takes me to a "page not found" message... That is also interesting because on my non-Symantec box my browser goes straight to the site. How bout dat ?! The other interesting thing is I can go to the google cached site on the Symantec protected box LOL. I've been here before: I really hope someone from Symantec reads this, there are to me several issues: 1: totally wrong classification of sites...really, looks silly, and also does a real security pioneer a great disservice. 2: unable to "Unblock" sites that I Know to be safe. 3: possible misdirection by Symantec re the "page not found" message. I am but a simple enduser, I like and have used Symantec for a Looong time, but please treat the endusers with some respect..by all means have a "granny" set-up by default, but also,...set some more granular control in there somewhere... Please? If I have missed some setting re the unblocking of pages...I would be grateful for some guidance. Regards.

Ahhh

I may have solved my own problem -sort of-

If I find NIS blocking some site: I can go back and turn off "Safe Search" and I can go through to the page..

Turns out the page does exist !

My request for some unblocking still stands.

My other general observations still stand.

Regards.
