au_.exe???

what is au_.exe?? Norton history says it made 10 modifications to my system? It came up right at the time I was uinstalling something! RISK-LOW! Noron also says it has multiple activities.

Another instance would be- C/users/appdata/local/temp/-nsu.tmp/au.exe is preparing to access the internet

I dought its a virus because this is a brand new computer and I am extremly safe on the net. Could someone just tell me more about this file?

that was confusing??? But thanks anyway! Does anyone have an idea about this? The programs I was uinstalling were firefox, office trial and yahoo toolbar

It can be part of the yahoo toolbar

I think it gets created in the temp folder when you delete certain programs. I had one of these when I deleted an Adobe flash player. I recreated the even on a work computer and the same thing

I dought its anything to worry about! If it was a risk Norton would have marked it as high not as low anyway!
