Hi again,

I'm probably doing something stupid, but there's one recently-added site where I get the Idenity Safe username but the password window stays stubbornly blank. If I go to edit the login, I can see the password and I've ticked the auto-fill box. Is there something else I've done wrong? In case it matters, I'm using Windows XP/SP3, with latst Firefox version.

Thanks in advance,

Ian

I don't know whether that's relevant, as I've only just started to use the site.

One thing I discovered since I opened the thread - if I click on the Log In button before I input the password manually, I get a new page with the message "You have entered an invalid username or password. Please enter the correct details and try again." This time, both username AND password pre-filled in. Clicking on Log In on this page works as intended.

Hi again,

I was going to reply that I've already tried that, but decided to have another look first. I logged on to the site as usual (a forum page), through my Firefox bookmarks, and then selected "Home". There it was! A log in screen with username AND password prefilled. All I have to do now is change my bookmark to load the home page and i'm sorted. Sorry to have troubled you.

Regards,

Ian
