Michael and I shared a lot of laughs, off-colour jokes, and photgraphs of our animals. He loved his sheepdog, Tucker, adored his family, especially his grandaughter, and always had time for friends and neighbours. One of his very best donations to the cause of entertainment was this Letter from the Taxman. It can be read and enjoyed here. http://www.boreme.com/posting.php?id=1040
We had fun passing links to absolutely ridiculous songs from the sixties that we were both old enough to remember, including such sterling examples as "My Boomerang won't Come Back" and "Chirpy, Chirpy, Tweet, Tweet." I am still having trouble imagining him in what he described as a "purple Edwardian suit."
He was a great friend. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to know him.

I'm very sorry to hear the sad news.. I think MD was the first reply to my first post. He always seemed to have the right answers. Now there will always be an empty spot in the replys..

MDTurner was a bright star here -- an intelligent voice and a kind one.
His presence added to the world.
He will be missed.
My sympathies to those who will miss him the most, his family, friends, and other loved ones.
