So shocking and so very sad; Mike will be sorely missed. It says a lot that so many people on this community were affected deeply by him. Being intelligent and knowledgable are helpful -- but his patience and understanding and sense of humor makes this so very sad.

I did not know MD other than his always polite posting of answers  He will surely be missed, and I feel I missed something by not knowing him better.
