Hi GORPY,
I don't think I understand enough to respond. I've had to sign back in when I move to different parts of the Symantec site to get answers and don't keep the community window open. I've also been quick enough a very few times to get back before the server know I'm gone.
What's happening to you?

Hi Dick, Well first of all this is no big deal, just in the past when I was signed in to the forum I stayed signed in and wasn't asked to sign in again. Only if I signed out in the forum was I asked to sign back in, This just started with what looks like a new display of Norton.com (which I sometimes use to get to the forum) and again the interface.......My passwords are always auto supplied by Norton Identy safe., Just now I went from Account to Apps Norton.com ( looks new) then Community to Norton forums and I wasn't ask to sign back in...Thanks Gorpy1

Have you checked out all the myriad My Settings? There is one that relates to autologin.
But I suspect you may be losing your login status if you clean out cookies too brutally since some of them do the logging in for you......

Hi Hugh...I'm always AUTOLogined by Norton (though I could log myself in) However I've never been asked to Relogin before unless I log out of the Forum? But again it's not really a big deal......I'm logging in with my login name and Signout and My Settings and Help all spelled out above. It's seemed to start with the new Norton.com graphics bar both last time and again (I go thru Norton.com) to get to the forum also the only cookies cleaned out were in a Quick Scan by Norton........Thanks.....Gorpy1

If I go to my settings Autologin will put my Norton Community Name Gorpy1 in space for New E-mail spot, I have NIS 2012 19.1.1.3.......So you know what forget it . It's No big deal and all will be set straight someday, I'm not worried...Thanks, Gorpy1 P.S Maybe it does that by design (Have you sign in each time to the forum ) I mean.

GORPY!
I'm still not sure I understand. Are you saying that you sign in and leave the community, return and are/were still logged in? If so I suspect that something on the Norton end changed so that it is not holding connections as long - security and all that ![]()

Now recently The Norton Forum keeps my Login like it always used to, w/o asking me to log in again (if I've not signed out) Ha! Go figure, whatever..........Thanks, Gorpy1
