Captcha is for "new" users?

If that's the case, why do I still see it after 7 months? I've never seen a board anywhere that requires it once a user is logged in -- even on the first day.

Hi rseiler,

I see that you have made 6 posts so far, including the one above. The captcha feature will go away after a few more posts; it is dependent on the number of posts and acts as a security measure. You can read this thread for more information.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now ready for take-off. We would like to remind you that smoking and flaming are prohibited on all boards of this forum. We wish you an enjoyable flight with Norton Airlines.

Hi rseiler, CAPTCHA, which the Norton community uses as a security measure, is based on the number of posts you have. Once you have reached a certain number, this feature will disappear.

Hope that helps you! If you have any additional issues, please feel free to ask!

Am pretty sure you need to get to "Contributor" before it goes away.
