No issue with limited privileges if that is, as it should be...but, why the Update notification and no Update ?

HI bjm_
It could be that the user has spammed into that thread (it oftens happens that people post adverts in the forums) and that it has been removed by a moderator. That particular user's profile shows as them having posted 26 times but their posting history does not show any posts.

Hi bjm_
You can look at any user's profile should you wish to (just click on any user's name) and it will show you what they have posted and lots of other information about their forum activity.

and the answer to my query... but, is there another way absent user link...
you just happened to have Author:aoxue (Newbie) link available ?

Hi bjm_
Here is the link to that user aoxue that anyone can view.
When it came up in your message it was in plain text and not presented as a link. To find the user you can go to the search box at the top of the forum, change the drop down to "users" and then put in aoxue and it will show that user. You can then click on the user name and it will show aoxue's details.
