Beginning to cloud over here

Our Moon    --   still white,    or is that a bluish tinge ?

Hey boneidle,

I got very lucky ;-D It's quite cloudy over here, but there were gaps in the cloud barrier and I was able to enjoy the partial eclipse - I could see a distinct blackish-greyish "dent" on the lower right corner of the moon, very interesting to watch, especially through a pair of binoculars ;-)))

There was a Full-Moon (White/Light) on Wednesday, December 02, 2009, and Thursday, December 31, 2009.

Never heard this before myself, I think.  Why is it "blue" if it happens twice in one month?  Because we do have one Full Moon (Light) and one Full Moon (Darkness) per month and it is always white when it appears.
