Image uploads

Good day;

The "My settings, help" was no use...

How do I upload an image ?

All I see is this:

_____________________________________________________________

Use this page to review and upload images

Image Upload

Image
Image Title
 _______________________________________________

There is nowhere that says "browse" (or anything else even close to that) so I can enter the path to my images on PC ....
As my rank says, I'm a Newbie...
thanks

Re: Image uploads

Yaso_Kuuhl has posted a very good tutorial here:

Re: Image uploads

Hi, I agree and tested that already.  :-)

But instead of Select a File, Browsw... all I get is a small grey box, with the label "Image" to the left of it.   !

Re: Image uploads

Somehow, this path for the "Browse" thingy: http://community.norton.com/t5/media/v1/imageuploaderpopuppage.imageupload.imageuploadlink?t:ac=boar...

...is blocked for me, probably by IE security... Already enabled cookies for the site, Security Trusted, PopUp bypass etc...

Still nogo.  :-(

Re: Image uploads

Electro - Several months ago, I also could not upload images to the Community.  After troubleshooting with SendOfJive's help, I found I could not upload images using IE8 but I could upload images using Mozilla Firefox.  It turned out I had an out dated copy of Adobe FlashPlayer.  Once I updated to the latest Adobe FlashPlayer, I could again upload images using both browsers.  If you use Adobe FlashPlayer, is it up to date?  Clutching at straws...

Windows 7 Home SP1 - IE 9.0.8112.16421 - NIS 2012 19.9.1.14 - Ghost Ver 15.0.1.36526 - Dell Optiplex GX280 PC.

Re: Image uploads

Electro -- it may be because you have the page listed as TRUSTED in Internet Explorer. Try restoring the defaults in IE:

Tools > Internet Options > Security tab, and click Reset All Zones to default level. Close the browser, then launch it again. Let me know if that helps with this issue. Thanks!
