Is send User private message broken?

Is Send a PM broken?

On messages from a number of users I have clicked on their name which brings up a page on which is a line Send user a Private Message but if I click on that nothing happens.

I've tried it on a number of people and on a Norton Staffer .......

Yes I got that and replied.

I then clicked again on your name but it took at least 20-30 seconds for the PM reply editor to come up and when I sent it ages to get Message sent.

And no easy way to get back here to send this one -- I even opened your profile sheet on another Tab so it should have left this thread on this tab but it didn't -- it used the Tab I'd opened your sheet from.

Not so hot!

I don't know if this was a temporary issue or if its been more on going. I haven't seen anything unusual, and can find no issues at the moment.

I just went back to the user I Wanted to PM to and clicked on his name in the thread column, then on Send him PM and it worked. There was a delay which was annoying but not as long as before and I noticed a progress bar that I had not seen before.

Could be the load from the Public Beta -- which I only found the Forum for when I clicked on Community see what was in Blogs!
