Hello everyone,
I am wondering if either the Norton Community Moderators or Administrators can explain why lately when any of the Norton Community members receives more than one Kudos for a post, in our profiles it shows as multiple entries.
For Example, please see below : -
Please note the date and time of the post titled "Re : security "ticks". I received 4 Kudos for this post, not 16.
This appears to affect all members of late.
Any explanation appreciated.
Thanks, Dave.

'Me too' and a Kudo instead of 'one for the road'! ![]()

Hi Krusty13,
On your profile under "Kudos Received", it will show an entry for each kudo received for the post. So if you have 4 kudos on a post, you will see the thread listed 4 times. I hope that clears things up a bit. Thanks.

OK, thanks Tony. At least I know what I'm seeing is to be expected. ![]()
Thanks, Dave.

Hi Tony
I understand the intent but I'd suggest that this is a bug. Summary level information is being presented in a way that doesn't really make sense. The kudos count in the 'Kudos Received' section should reconcile with the 'Total Kudos Received' count shown in the 'Public Statistics' section of the user's profile. At present it doesn't reconcile.
To illustrate using Krusty13's data provided earlier and, to keep it simple, let's assume that this was the first time that Krusty13 had ever received kudos for a post. Under the Public Statistics section of Krusty13's profile, the 'Total Kudos Received' count would now show 4.
Currently, what we are seeing in Krusty13's Kudos Received section is this:
| Subject | Replies | Rating | Kudos | Posted |
| Re: security "ticks" | 0 | 4 | 19-04-201208:33 AM | |

| Re: security "ticks" | 0 | 4 | 19-04-201208:33 AM |
This is incorrect. Each record shown above is a summary level record for that post ie Kudos count for each record equals 4. As it stands, it looks like there are duplicate records being displayed here. The correct way to present this summary level record would be:
| Subject | Replies | Rating | Kudos | Posted |
| Re: security "ticks" | 0 | 4 | 19-04-201208:33 AM |
If the intent is to show a single record for each kudo received for a post, then detail level records need to be used instead:
| Subject | Replies | Rating | Kudos | Posted |
| Re: security "ticks" | 0 | 1 | 19-04-201208:33 AM | |
| Re: security "ticks" | 0 | 1 | 19-04-201208:33 AM | |

| Re: security "ticks" | 0 | 1 | 19-04-201208:33 AM |
The Kudos count is now 1 for each record ie each record represents a single kudo given by a user. If you were to now add up the kudos in this section, the total will now match the 'Total Kudos Received' count shown in the 'Public Statistics' section. That said, it still doesn't address the fact that it looks like duplicate records are being displayed. To fix this, you will need to add another column to this section; the name of the user who kudoed the post:
| Subject | Kudos From | Replies | Rating | Kudos | Posted |

I hope that explains why I think this is a bug.
