Congrats to Phil_D from me, too ;-)) But that means he has also got to take excellent care of his garden...although I actually read that worms are USEFUL to have in one's garden...Hmmm...Pity it's quite the opposite where computers are concerned...

Wow at this rate I can see norton running out of possible names based solely on different types of malware.

Maybe some AV related names like "firewall sentry" or "protection wizard" are in order. Like Allenk hinted at in the beginning of the post there doesn't have to be just one ladder. Who knows, maybe there will be a set based on the forums like "kudos king" or "message monster".

Another idea I had would be to add a mega or ultimate level to each of the existing names (i.e.. after super phishing phryer could come mega phishing phryer.)

As for colors platinum, gold, and rainbow (color changed between letters) still seem to be available. Looks like maybe a very deep orange and turquoise are still available as well. Though what would be really cool is if at certain status names instead of a new color the user would get a symbol of some kind with their status etched into it. Like firewall sentry could be etched into a shield and protection wizard could be written with the letters circling a wizard's hat with the norton seal on it.

A man after my own heart  -- don't know if he has any Hong Kong connections but some of the best fish and chips I've had were in an imitation sailing ship in the basement of a bank building in Hong Kong, way back in the British days .... <g>
