Software Question

I was wondering if it is against the forum "Guidelines" to mention a website that has a special on software, that was mentioned in a post?  I read the "Guidelines" and a couple of the rules "Could" apply but I'm not sure.

Windows 7 Home SP1 - IE 9.0.8112.16421 - NIS 2012 19.9.1.14 - Ghost Ver 15.0.1.36526 - Dell Optiplex GX280 PC.

Re: Software Question

I tend to err on the side of caution for a couple of different reasons.  It might be better to handle that subject in a PM to prevent Symantec from being accused of advertising certain distributors above others.

Re: Software Question

delphinium - Thanks for your reply.  That is what I think the "Guidelines" implied, but I didn't see it spelled out and wanted to make sure.

I don't think you will ever see something like that 'spelled out'. It leaves too many gaps in the legal protections and defenses.

Using the PM feature allows everybody to deny any knowledge of the activity :smileywink:
