One of the forum posts contained an address to Symantec/Norton page that has a hyperlink address to Chat support.
The article or forum post was: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Sec
http://us.norton.com/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs
A brief description of that web page including the address should be posted in the Announcements board of this community forum.
An example of why to post that to an easily findable place is a recent past use of Chat support for a NIS problem during which the internet connection to Norton's Chat support was cut-off while the computer restarted. I could not figure out how to resume the chat session, and so I used a google/web search to find a support site for Norton and through that found a link to request a chat session. The link address that I was given to try during the initial part of the chat session did not work, which is why I resorted to a web/internet/google search to find an address.

Hello g_cafe_c
I dont see how it could be much easier than it already is.
If you look at the top of this or any other forum page you will see the word Support.
If you mouse over Support you will see the words Customer Support in the drop down.
If you click on that you will see Nathan and various support related topics on the left.
If none of that helps you then on the bottom of that page you will see Contact Us on the left.
Clicking on Contact Us will take you to the same support page you linked to in your initial post in this thread.
