Guess I haven't been keeping up.

Friends and others are used to my Woodstock era lingo ... never lost it. Haven't got used to my younger relatives lingo, the LOL being part of it. Have received that in countless emails and never knew what it was about.

I guess now I do, maybe?   

Guess I'll have to do a search on LOL and see what I've been missing

I learned what it meant by asking one of my grandsons. Our roles are changinig a bit, they are doing more technical teaching these days I just stick with the basics.

PS: I had to learn LMAO from a younger adult friend same with ROFLMAO

 Learn something new everyday. I went and looked up those last two, LMAO and ROFLMAO. Felt kind of silly after seeing what they stood for 

I better stick with 'cool' and 'far out'. I start using that other stuff, my younger relatives will look at me funny saying, What are ya doin' Ed, trying to be hip again
