"Solution" Button Visual Improvements

Hi, Community,

I feel that the "Solution" button does not stand out enough as I've seen quite a few Threads not being "Solved!", when the Solution Message is obvious, due to the fact that most users are not noticing, or forgetting, that the button is there. Maybe instead of being a grey box, it could have a nice green background to the button. Post your suggestions here!

Not sure how posters could miss a button that is that big. A colour change from Grey would look nice though. Then you might have to change the reply button so that it matches its neighbour.

In that case, the "Reply" button could be changed to have a orange background, but I don't really see the need to change the "Reply" button if the "Accept as Solution" button's background was changed to green.

Just a small heads-up: it looks like the forum was updated today, adding improvements to the Kudos button :-) On the other hand, the Solution button has vanished; I have notified a moderator of this problem.

In the meantime, the only way to work around this glitch is to navigate to "Options" of the post which you want to mark as the solution and then click on "Accept as Solution".

Thanks for the update, Tony - am looking forward to seeing what the solution button will look like and where it will be placed And I like the new Kudos buttons and their alignment

It's fixed now. The Solution button is below KUDOS, so all the buttons are grouped near each other. Thanks for your patience.

This is an improvement, however, I would still like the Accept As Solution button to be a different colour, for example, the green colour it used to be.
