Tried to download 360 v5 through my account onto a new mac book air, using up the last of my licences. Download went fine but it appears that in my dowload files when clicking on the file it appears to be a text file of some sort (.exe) therefore I can't complete the download. The first line of the text file may also highlight the issue, not sure.

Can anyone advise please.

Hi HMDT,
Welcome to Norton Community!
Are you trying to install N360 V5 in Mac Operating system?
Norton 360 V5 is supported only on Windows. You cannot use it in Mac OS. You may have to purchase Norton Internet Security for Mac separately if you need protection for Mac book air.
Thanks,

Many thanks - suspected that to be the case but couldn't see that anywhere.

Since you have not installed it yet, your license will be still there available. If you have any problem with license, you can contact our Support through Live Chat, they will help you to resolve this:
