I'm here to ask the experts. I just recently had to pay someone $200 to have Adware.Hotbar, Trojan-Downloader.Java.Agent MX and a keylogger removed from my system. Virus defination updates seem to run numerous times per day and I usually run a quick scan daily as well yet my PC still became infected. How on earth did this happen? I realize no A/V product is 100% safe but I'm wondering if the antivirus/antispyware is working. I've used Norton 360 for over a year and I don't believe it's EVER picked anything up. The only thing is seems to do is delete cookies. Am I doing something wrong or was I just unlucky? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated and I thank you in advance for your time!
