I have 2 laptops with 360 installed with and my renewal date is in about a month. Why is my license expired on one and not the other??

For some reason, I also can't open 360 by clicking on my desktop link or the status bar. I did boot into safe mode and ran 360 and other than a few cookies, didn't find any problems.

Now it even says my identity safe is expired too!

Hi pgus13,
On the machine that shows the product subscription as expired, try the following:

Thanks, but part of the problem is I can click on the desktop icon but nothing opens to even try your solution. I have about a month left in my current subscription so that should NOT be the problem!!

Hi, are there any other indications of problems or error messages being displayed? The Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool is available if it comes to that. It's here:

Keep us in the loop

I downloaded it earlier and gave me error 3040,40028. I was going to try and uninstall and then reinstall with the downloaded file from last download and am afraid if I uninstall, I won't be able to use the laptop online anymore......

Hi,
Have you run any full scans lately? You can download v5 from here: http://www.norton.com/n360s_5/
The recommended solution is to use the removal tool to eliminate all traces of the program so that you can do a clean install.
Use the file you get from the link I posted. It should be almost up to date so your won't have to run live update and reboot too many times.
We'll be here when you need us.

I will try the removal tool in "safe mode" because nothing with Nortons even opens or remotely functional.
I do have the version 5 on my other laptop and should be able to transfer it via memory stick!
Thanks!
