AutoClicker v 2.1

I have been trying to install AutoClicker v2.1. Norton360 immediately removes it. I know that this is NOT spyware. I have a friend that uses it.

I have tried to find someway to get Norton 360 to stop removing the program, but to no avail. Can someone help me to get this program working?

Re: AutoClicker v 2.1

Hi rayshoe,

Welcome to Norton Community!

AutoClicker is a program which can be configured for the mouse to automatically click your left , middle and right mouse button, set the interval at which the clicks will occur, set pauses between clicks, automatically stop after a desired ammount of clicks. I think, AutoClicker is detected and removed as Keylogger or Malware by Norton program because it has some behaviors that screen capture/keylogger programs typically perform. Generally, these functions are used internally by programs and are not directly visible to the computer user.

You can check in the settings for Eavesdropping Protection in Norton 360 and set AutoClicker to "Allow" for it to work(if AutoClicker is listed there). Otherwise, you have to disable AutoProtect and install AutoClicker. Then exclude AutoClicker from AutoProtect Scan as well as Manual Scan. Here are the steps:

1. Start Norton 360.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click AntiVirus.
4. Click Exclusions tab.
5. Under Which disks, folders, or files to exclude from risk scanning, click New.
6. Select the
program folder of AutoClicker (folder in which all files for AutoClicker 2.1 are located, mostly it will be C:\Program Files\AutoClicker) and click OK.
7. Under Which disks, folders, or files to exclude from Auto-Protect scanning, click New.
8.
Select the  program folder of AutoClicker and click OK.
9. Click Close.

Now, reenable the AutoProtect and check whether you are able to use AutoChecker. Let us know how it goes.
