No luck using Norton's online help on this so hope someone can help! I have been using 360 to backup my entire computer for over a year without issues. A couple weeks ago it starts failing without an error code and just says "backup had a problem. Check that your stoarge device or drive is connected". I backup on an Iomega standalone that is devoted to only backup. The backup is ~280GB, but there is an extra 139GB left on the 1TB drive. Wondering if it is related to my recent upgrade to V6.3, but I have no clue what to do. Thanks for your time!

Try running the Live updates fully and then restart the computer and then run the back up. If you still have the same issue, re install the Norton.

Thanks so much! So simple! I thought the 360 software updated itself as updates were issued, but I guess not.

The software will download the updates on it's own, but occasionally an update will require a reboot. If you are someone that leaves the computer on 24/7, you need to manually run the LiveUpdate once in a while and it will tell you if a reboot is required.
Or, you could just reboot once a week to get any waiting updates.
