I have a DSL connection that will periodically drop out for about 30-60 seconds.
Because of this drop out, the online backup will get to about 75-80% and is not able to complete the backup. When I bring the program back up, it tries to restart the backup from 0%.
Is there anyway to change the protocol or functionality in that if the backup fails, it will pick up where it left off?
Thanks.

Hi newtoncd,
Welcome to Norton Community!
If you check the System Requirements for Norton 360 3.0, it's recommended to have a broadband or high-speed internet connection for Online Backup.

So, it's understood that Online Backup won't work properly with similar connection which periodically drops out for about 30-60 secs. I don't think that it will then start from the beginning - 0% and there is no way to configure it to start from where it has been stopped.

It definitely restarts at 0%, seems like it would be feasible for the backup to pick up where it left off.
Either that, or I wish Qwest would fix my DSL connection ... ;-)
