I have a blogger.com blog and I noticed a couple of weeks ago that when searching for my blog through Google or other search engines, it went from showing the green OK circle to the grey Untested circle next to it. I tried to register my blog (definitely-addicted.blogspot.com), but since I don't own the site/domain, I can't get to the root folder- and blogger doesn't allow meta tags within the posts. I don't want people to be scared to click on my blog... it's harmless! Please help!

I agree. Besides my own free-hosted blog with no domain, I've seen tons of others show up as a grey icon when I know they're safe/decent sites. None of us can register to update/claim the site because of the lack of options for those of us without meta access or root folder access.
It would be nice if we could simply be asked to temporarily post a text/html widget/gadget with a Norton-assigned title on the widget, and then post into that widget -- whatever random keys/info is asked of us by Norton. Once Norton scans the site & verifies the info, they should then allow us to claim our site or something... And then we should be able to remove the widget/gadget afterwards.
In the meantime, I've just been going around and trying to rate these greyed blogs to a 5 in hopes that they'll be changed to green but that hasn't done anything...

Your site 'definitely-addicted.blogspot.com' had been submitted for analysis and is currently rated green in safeweb.norton.com.

I have the same issue with a Blogger (blogspot) site...it just showed up in a search with a grayed Norton verification. May I also be verified or instructed as to what I should do to?
Thank you in advance,

We are not able to locate the safeweb metatag in your home page 'http://www.artmusicpoliticsfaithandlove.blogspot.c

In my Norton user profile it indicates that my blog has been verified.
But the reason I posted my question here is that it is a free blog like Marie above...who said:

Fortunately it looks like the issue has been resolved.
