I can't activate my product because it can't communicate with the Symantec server. I also can't access the Symantec website fro any of my browsers, I think there is spyware on my computer preventing me from doing this. I have internet access, I just can't access certain sites. Anyone else have this problem?

Hello kramehr
Welcome to the Norton Users Discussion Forum
Did you just install N360 now trying to clean up an infected computer? What was your previous security program and how was it removed? What operating system and what service pack level are you using? What version of N360 are you trying to activate? These background questions will help to trouble shoot your problem. Thanks

Hi kramehr
Since you think you have malware on your system you could try a scan with the free version of malwarebytes which can be downloaded from www.malwarebytes.org
After you download and install it you should do an update to get latest definitions and then do a full system scan.

Hi floplot,
Thanks so much for the reply. Turns out it was mall ware that was causing the problem. I downloaded a program that mdturner recommended and was able to get rid of it, which resolved the issue.
Thanks again,
kramehr

Hi mdturner,
Thanks a lot for the reply. The program you recommended did the trick. You probably saved me another 3 days of aggravation.
Thanks again,
