Have been online with tech support multiple times, deleting and re-installing and nobody can get Norton Business Suite 6 from Comcast to activate. If it does a LiveUpdate, then it needs to be un-installed again.

Are you on a Lenovo by chance?
If you are please uninstall Rapdboot, go to Control panel > Add/remove programs (XP) or Programs & Features (Vista/Win &) and uninstall it. We have seen this problem before and the last I heard, Rapidboot is no longer supported by Lenovo.

So much for that idea. I did find the Busniess Class download page on Comcast ,but that may not be any help either:

As far as I know, the Business Suite is in fact the same as Norton Security Suite - just permits more licensed systems.
I will try to get a Norton employee who works with Comcast situations to respond to this thread.

Hi rmuelhff,
Sorry for the delay, my contact @ Norton must be on vacation as he has not opened my PM to him yet.
When you were in contact with Norton tech support, did they check to see if you had any other secuirty programs installed presently or in the past? If you had another product installed prior to Comcast Norton it needs to be removed totally, using the product specific removal tool. Please see the information in this link on the Comcast Forums for more info:
Also do you have any other security programs installed which may be running in real-time such as MBAM Pro, SAS Pro or Spybot S & D with tea-timer enabled? If so they need to be disabled.

Can you be more specific? What does it do instead of activating? Error messages? Why does it have to be uninstalled after an update?
