My 360 subscription was recently renewed. Now 360 has stopped working and every time I try to access a Norton file I get a window saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." This includes the uninstall file, the installation disc, the file from the norton site to verify version number, and the programme from Norton site to uninstall files. Windows defender is turned off, and I have no other AV software running.

It is a Dell, but I do not appear to have Embassy Trust Suite.
The problem now appears to have resolved itself, just by logging off and on again, and 360 is now working. It only affected Norton files, as others would run, so I don't know what the problem was.
